Day 2

Oh what a day.  As I sit here at my computer thinking what "one thing" I want to express gratitude for I get stuck.  So here's a quick list of three things I'm grateful for today:

1.  The right to vote.  Whether the elections go "our way" or not, we should all be glad that we are given the chance to have a voice.  If you don't vote, don't complain when you don't like things.  If you like complaining about the government, politicians, taxes, etc.... go vote.  Who knows, if we all actually do our civic duty, we may get closer to the world we each hope to be a part of.

2.  Movement.  Now, as a dancer I like all kinds of "movement," but today I am referring specifically to the movement of the little fetus inside of me.  I am twenty weeks along today (half way, wahoo!) and the past two days have been good as I've felt this kid dancing about inside my womb.  Beyond the fact that it reassures me that there is a living baby inside there, I just like to know that this person is active.

My growing bump.

3.  My KitchenAid.   So I know you're not supposed to love things, but that doesn't mean we can't be grateful for them, right?

Happy Election Day!  Go vote!
