What's Up?

Hello Blog Land!  Welcome to another edition of "Robin's Blog of Ordinary Things."  Today's post will feature the top ten things that have happened since that last post.  (Uh... I should go check the date to see when that was...)

Here we go!

In no particular order of coolness:

10.  Our anniversary!  Yup.  Our marriage is now 2 years old.  Crazy.  Crazy because it seems like so much longer.  Not longer in a "Holy Cow, Tom... being married to you feels like an eternity!"  But longer because from day 1 everything just seemed so normal.  It's been a great two years, and I look forward to many more.

9.  Family.  We got to spend a little time with Tom's sister Christina and her husband John and their cute twins.  It was a little time, as they were just driving through, but it's fun to see how fast those kiddies grow.

8.  Maternity Clothes.  Oh yes, so exciting, right?  Not so much.  I haven't actually had to wear said maternity clothes, but I did purchase some.  Which, if you know me you know that I really hate to go clothes shopping.  So going clothes shopping for clothes that I will only wear a few months = lame shopping experience.  And I'm still trying to find something to wear to church as I'm pretty sure it will be my skirts that stop fitting first.  Do you think I can go to church naked?

7.  Football!  So I'm really not much of a football fan, but my family likes to get together to watch and that's always fun.  (And my Dad is kind of crazy when watching football, and that's kind of fun to watch, too.)

6.  Enjoying this weather!  I've pretty much been in love with the weather the past couple of weeks.  It's chilly enough in the morning/evening for a jacket and just right in the afternoon.  Tom and I have enjoyed our daily walks (sometimes multiple walks...).

5.  Changing Bodies.  Doesn't that sound like a title for some sort of maturation video?  Tee hee...  I'm definitely slowly getting a little bump, although mostly I just feel "thick."  In another week and a half I will be at the halfway mark.  Wahoo!  (Nov. 8th I get to find out if we're having a boy or girl.  Although, Tom doesn't want to know so we'll see if that secret can actually be kept from him.)

4.  Paragliding.  Okay, so this was actually back in September.  But for Tom's birthday I got him an introductory lesson to go jump off a cliff.  The day we were scheduled was too windy, but we finally got in and it was fun to watch.

3.  Books.  When I'm not trying to take over the world I enjoy reading.  Random things, as usual.

2.  Uh, I can't think of anything else.  We are super lame sometimes.

1.  Oh yeah!  Princesses!  We got together (finally!) for lunch at the beginning of the month.  So many fun memories with these awesome people.

Pregnancy is so weird. So just for the record I didn't wear maternity clothes until i was 6 1/2 months with Abby and even then carried so high that i wore my own jeans until two weeks before she came, BUT gained 48 lbs. No joke, how do you wear your own jeans and gain that much weight? Max, on the other hand, I was showing at 10, trying to really hide it at 12 and by 14 just had to give in... only gained 35. With this one, I've been wearing maternity clothes since I can remember but am not really putting on many lbs. Weird. Wow that was a lot about me- sorry!

You're lucky to fit into normal clothes for so long! That's awesome.

Robin, I seriously always love reading your posts. Your sense of humor cracks me up.

Also, you can't use the words "paragliding" and "super lame" in the same blog post. I just simply don't believe you.
