1. Chicago was great. It was a long, long, lo-oong week. I flew to Cleavland, Ohio to attend the International Association of Dance Medicine and Science conference. I presented a movement session, "Improving the Torso-Limb Connection Through the Use of the Bartenieff Fundamentals." It went pretty well, and as soon as I was done a ran back to my hotel, called a taxi, and was on my way to Cincinnati. From there I took another flight to Chicago. Arrived, Tom's dad picked me up, went to Tom's house (about 45 minutes out of Chicago), changed, pretended NOT to smell like an airport, and went to our reception. Needless to say, by the time we finally got home that I night, I was exhausted. But everything went well. We are truly blessed with many supportive and loving family and friend.

2. While in Chicago, I got to see "Wicked." And we had some pretty wicked seats, too. It was the first time I've been to a Broadway show where I could actually see the actors facial expressions. It was awesome. Truly, truly, truly outrageous!
3. Last night was another cook-something-new night! We made Thai Chicken and Coconut Soup and Fried Rice. Wow, the soups was delicious! Seriously, so good. Who knew that chicken stock, coconut milk, soy sauce, jalepenos peppers, and lime juice would create the base for such a TASTY soup.

Thank goodness for Irma.

If you don't have this cookbook, you need it. In fact, I dare say it's the only cookbook you'll need. It's great!!!

Once again, congrats to you!
Yay for Broadway shows! I'm hoping to see Wicked in NYC during Christmas break. Do you think it would be too 'scary' for my 5-year-old? (He really likes theater.)
the food you cook sounds so good! I have been looking for a good cook book I think I'll try that one. I also love wicked thats so fun you got to see it while in chicago.
Libbie, I don't think it would be too scary. It's more magical than scary. :)
Carly, Get this book! It seriously has recipes for EVERYTHING.
My mother told me a long time ago that the only cook book I would ever need was the Better Homes and Gardens Cookbook. I assume the Joy of Cooking fits into the same category.
... maybe i should buy this new one because then I would have an impetetrable cooking arsenal.
I'm so glad you had fun at Wicked...
