Yummy.

Today I am grateful food. Real food. Yummy, delicious, nourishing, healing food.

I think far too often food is a source of guilt in our society. I know it was for me growing up. I felt guilty eating things I knew I "shouldn't" and not eating food I knew I "should." Over the past year or two I've come to learn how GENIUS real food is. I'm so grateful to have access to good food. To be able to nourish my child with real food. I've seen improved energy, health, and some mad cooking skills come from the simple things God put on earth for the use of man.

I just hope I will remember the sacrifices it represents and the gift it really is.

In other news, as requested (hi Lexy!), here are some pics of Halloween. Sadly, the day itself was kind of lame. Tom works nights and I don't have a car. But that didn't stop us from dressing up the babe and dreaming of next year when she'll actually get (kind of) excited about it.

Not a Halloween shot, but just a reminder that we now have a crawler on our hands!  :)

Our little Lady Bug

And our little SUPER Girl. (Yes, two costumes. We are awesome like that. Also, some former students gave this to me when she was born. How awesome is that?)

Yeah, she likes to stand now. A lot.

YAY! I can't believe she's crawling! My kids are always slow on that end; hand-eye coordination is not one of our strengths apparently.
I love the costume(s). No one should have to limit themselves to just one. :o)
