Tender Mercies

Today I am grateful for the tender mercies of the Lord. We've been tremendously blessed in our family, and I've seen the Lord's hand in our lives constantly. But every now and then something small and simple will happen that reminds me of the little fact that He is always aware of us: our wants, needs, fears, hopes, dreams. Sometimes the challenges of life cloud the reality of those tender mercies: A kind word. A random email or letter. An answer to a "small" prayer. I find that those tender mercies remind me of God's love even more than the sometimes "big" miracles.
