Naps = Love

Today I am grateful for nap time. Don't get me wrong, I am VERY grateful to be able to stay home with C. I never thought the whole stay-at-home mom thing would gel with me, but as it turns out... I love it. However, nap time is wonderful.

Today she napped beautifully in the morning while I was teaching, giving Tom time to work on some things he's been trying to get done. And now the girl is sleeping peacefully for her afternoon nap... and I was able to do my yoga AND shower. YEA!

Yes, I am thankful for nap time. I know that sleep is important for children. But I think it was Heavenly Father's way of keeping the moms of the world sane. Thank you!!!

And now I leave you with some cute pics of the babe sleeping through her life:

I'm super thankful for naps too...but for the ones I get to take myself. I saw a little bumper sticker/saying thing on the internet the other day that said, "I think I need a new perspective on life. Or maybe just a nap. Yea, just a nap." It totally reminded me of myself. After a good nap everything is so much more "glass half-full."

As a teenager I remember putting together picture/memory books with my sisters and we all noticed there were a TON of pictures taken of each of us while entering our subconscious. We asked my mom why she would take so many pictures of us asleep. She responded, "Because that's when I loved you the most."

I find myself doing the same thing.
