Updates and Smiles

Well, hello there!

Welcome to a bullet edition blog post of "What's going on in the Konie Family."  For your convenience, these bullets have been systematically arranged into useful categories. (You're welcome.)

Robin:

• Is still pregnant.  Over 31 weeks at this point.  My due date is two months from Saturday.  WHAT!?
• Is feeling pretty lucky and very blessed with how this pregnancy has gone.  No sickness, aches, pains, swelling, stretch marks, cravings, etc.  We'll see if this trend continues, but even if not I feel very fortunate.
• Is preparing the nursery and getting all sorts of "crafty."  (Okay, probably not THAT crafty.  But I did buy a glue gun for a homemade project. Too bad I can't show anything because my strange husband doesn't want to know what we are having!)
• Is not teaching this semester.  This is officially the first semester since kindergarten where I did not have to go to some sort of school.  Weird.  But nice (most days).
• Is reading and writing a lot--trying not to go insane with boredom.  Most days this is a success.  Every now and then the twitching starts.
• Loves yoga more each day.
• Loves cheese equally as much.

Tom:

• Is on his new schedule for his new job.  So far it's been good. (You'd have to ask him for any real details, but from what I can gather he is doing GREAT.)
• Is back to trading... which makes me happy because I know he likes it. (Most days.)
• Is learning some yoga!  (And it was his idea... I didn't force it on him or anything.)  He's training to become the first ever yoga-ninja master.  Watch out world.
• Makes me laugh when he dances.  Seriously, just thinking about it makes me smile with pure happiness.

Baby Chaos:

• Is active and moving inside the belly.
• Is already super loved.
• Is also training to be a yoga-ninja master. Seriously, this baby does way more than just "kick."  I can totally tell when she/he is doing a sun salutation into a monster karate chop.

Life in General:

• Is good. While many of our days run into one another, and nothing super exciting is going on (besides making a person), we are tremendously blessed.  We have great family, friends, neighbors, and yoga-ninja moves to last a life time.

Things that make me happy today:

• My midwife appointment.  
• The beautiful non-polluted weather we've enjoyed this week.
• Thinking about living on a farm.  (Don't judge me.)
• Ice cream.  (I actually haven't had any ice cream, and don't have any to consume... but that doesn't mean the thought of it can't make me happy, right?)
