Today I am grateful for my parents. I could write a book on all the stuff they've done for me over my life, but I'm too lazy to do that. Needless to say, they are amazing.
Today we were driving to their home for a Sunday dinner. They live in the mountains and their driveway is steep. Our car didn't make it due to the snow and ice. We parked down the road in a little parking lot and began the short walk. Halfway there was saw my dad in his car. He didn't want me walking up the driveway in my "condition." (He was afraid I'd slip on the VERY slippery driveway and hurt the baby.) Such a sweet, small gesture made me smile.
