Well, folks... here we are. The last day of November. I can't believe how fast time is flying these days, and that December is here at our doorstep. As I finish my last "official" gratitude post (hopefully it won't be the last time I express gratitude...), I am kind of at a loss as to what to say. It's not that I can't think of anything to be thankful for, but because there is so much. It's just that whatever I put here somehow doesn't seem adequate to express what I really feel.
There are specific people that come to mind right now--people who I would like to personally thank. But this blog doesn't seem like the place to call those people out by name. There are strangers who, throughout my life, have made a difference to me who I wish I could name and find a way to say "thanks." There are challenges that have shaped me, along with trials that I've witnessed other people experience that humble me and inspire me to be a better person. There are countless opportunities I've been given that have directed my path. I have never been in want for food or shelter. I have had a life of plenty.
I guess as I move into December, and into the Christmas season, my greatest desire is to stop and remember Him who makes this life meaningful. I am grateful for my Savior who lived a life perfectly so that his death could make my life worthwhile. I so deeply desire to make this Christmas season more meaningful than presents, ornaments, or even homemade treats... and hope that somehow I can find a small way to truly show my gratitude to Him whose birth we celebrate.

I've really enjoyed reading your "gratitude posts!" It was such a good idea!
You've reminded me I have a lot to be grateful for.
I'll miss your daily posts. I think you should consider continuing them... maybe another theme?! :o)
