This is the cake we made to announce to our family. We are expecting! We are very excited!
(We have joked about naming our child Chaos long before we were expecting... luckily for our unborn child we decided against using the name, but compromised by calling our fetus Chaos.)
Here are the answers to the frequent questions:
1. I am due March 22 (right around the first day of Spring! Yay!)
2. That puts me at 13 weeks.
3. I felt a little "blah" "meh" and "iffy" for a couple of weeks, but nothing too bad. I've definitely felt a boost in my energy that past two or three weeks.
4. We are going the midwife route, which I am really excited about.
So yeah! Good stuff! I'm sure you will hear more about my adventures here.

My first-born arrived on March 18th.

Holy Cow! Congratulations! I just thought to myself, "I wonder if Robin is pregnant yet." So I decided to check your blog, not even sure if you would announce it here or not. But you did, in a very classy way I might add, and I am so excited for you!!! I'm glad you've got a little more energy back. You've got a good three months before it gets sucked away again (and not to come back for at least six months after that). Anywho, congrats again!
For the record, every time I see this pic it makes me giggle. I'm so happy for you! And Creamie is going to be thrilled to have a new baby to gush over at church.

and that is hilarious about "chaos" cause we called zainab in utero chaos, but in urdu (cause i didn't know the gender) which is...wait for it...GERBER, hilarious huh, granted you have to pronounce it with a stereotypical indianish accent, but ya a total gerber baby :) :)
