- It's Tom's birthday on Sunday. The big 3-0. I'm pretty excited, probably more than he is, but that is because I've planned some awesome (secret) things! Luckily for me he doesn't read this blog... but I'm still not going to say what we're doing yet.
- I did some teaching for the IMS program again this summer. Such a great experience, if not a little nerve racking teaching in front of two internationally recognized MASTERS of this field. And although I hate the long commute to the U (leaving my house at 6:30 in the blessed morning), I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
- We joined a CSA this year, and we've been enjoying the yummy food that we pick up each week. Fresh raspberries, heirloom tomatoes, greens, zucchini, red potatoes, kale, etc., etc., etc. So good. And I love supporting a local farmer who believes in real organically grown food. One week we got a huge tomato that was about the size of my head. Seriously. It was tasty!
- I'm really ready for Fall to start. The heat is killing me this year, and I'm not sure why because it's been a pretty mild summer. Something about living on the third floor, combined with the heat from too many electronic devices in our office, just make me want to do nothing but shed my clothing and sleep on the couch all day. (Too much? Sorry.)
- I am teaching one class at UVU in the Fall. It's an Advanced Movement Fundamentals class. I'm actually looking forward to it. It's only twice a week, and even though UVU and BYU are close to each other, UVU seems so much closer to me.
- It looks like I'm going to be heading out to Virginia again for a couple of days. It will be a fun reunion with two other of my fellow Movement Analysts. We are being hired to watch some videos. Awesome to the max.
- I am also teaching a workshop at BYU on Friday for the faculty. Should be interesting....
- Tom and I had some fun doing our own little "photo shoot." I wanted to some dance shots to prove to future generations that I could actually dance at one point... you know, in case I decide to get fat and lazy someday. Here are just a few:
And just because I doubt you actually believed me when I said the tomato was almost as big as my head, take a look. (Never mind that I had just come home from a 10 hour day of teaching... which equals one gross Robin):

I like when you blog about your life. You should do it more regularly. The tomato is awesome. Much love!
I am so glad you're excited for fall. I keep saying that I'm ready for summer to be over and people give me very angry looks.
Ok seriously, the dancing pics are so cool. I LOVE them! And Happy Birthday Tom!
