Hey look!  It's me again!  I'm pretty sure this is some sort of record: two posts in 8 days!  Wowzers.

I really don't have anything witty to say or exciting new updates (do I ever?), but I am bored and thought I would share some random thoughts.  I'm pretty sure everything I put on this blog is random anyway, but you get what you pay for, right?

Random Thought #1:

I know I mentioned this in the past post, but I am really REALLY looking forward to Fall... and maybe even Winter.  (What the!?)  I don't know what it is about this summer, but I'm ready for it to be over.  And I don't say that with any sort of hatred or malice.  It's been a good summer.  I've had some nice relaxing time off, great teaching opportunities, and a few fun adventures.  I am just so HOT all the time (yes, both figuratively and literally - it's hard being me.)  I think part of the issue comes from that fact that in order to feel productive I usually need to be in my office where it's about six bajillion degrees.  (No lie.)  We bought a fan to put in the room, but it doesn't do a lot and just makes the room noisy.  So I find myself wanting to do nothing... and then I am troubled with guilt.  Vicious cycle, indeed.

I am really excited for sweater weather... and not too horrified by the idea of Winter.  Maybe it's because this is the first time since I've had a driver's licence where I don't have to drive to work/school five - six times a week.  Maybe it's because I have exciting things ahead of me.  Maybe my friend Erika (The Queen of Winter) is finally wearing off on me.  Who knows.  But I am going to embrace this feeling and try to live up my Winter experience.  (But only after a really beautiful, cool, and LONG Fall, okay?)

Mmmmm....

Random Thought #2:

I bought a dehydrator... I'm so domestic.

Final Random Thought:

I could really go for some ice cream right about now.

It can stay summer long enough for some more ice cream, and then fall better hurry up and get here. I'm sick of waiting for winter. :o)

Those pictures look like Vermont to me. I've got to say, I think I'm going to really miss autumn in VT this year, but not winter. I do not share your winter enthusiasm.

Btw---I recently found a picture of you and Jeff S. wearing headsets from our Dial America days. Awesomeness.
