On the Horizon

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

Today is a good day. Even a great day. Why? Well, as I peer across the horizon of my life there are some bright shining moments heading my direction:

1. The possibility of a new home.

We are waiting for the appraisal to get back to us (by Tuesday), but it looks very likely that we have finally found a new home. It's not a house, actually. After much searching through much of Utah county, our financial possibilities, and our souls, we have come to a decision that a house will wait. In the meantime, we've found a beautiful condo that fits us even better. With high vaulted ceilings, a friendly and host-friendly kitchen, more living space then we are currently enjoying, and some other great perks, we are excited that this condo will most likely be ours by the middle of June. Best of all, we will be paying LESS a month than what we pay now for our humble apartment. Seriously. Once everything goes through, I'll post some pics.

2. My birthday!

Anyone who knows me know that I love birthdays. And of course, I probably love mine the best. :) I don't have any great plans for my birthday, especially since it's on a Sunday, but Tom and I will go out for some good eat the day before, and we'll make sure to have lots of fun in our own relaxed sort of way. I feel good about 28. It's going to be a great year. I mean, 27 was pretty cool so why shouldn't it just get better?

3. A massage

Yes, on Monday I get to spend the first part of my Memorial Day relaxing at a spa. I'm pretty stoked, especially because I get an amazing "Body Butter Drench" experience for F-R-E-E. Why? Well, in the next two weeks, check out my other blog to hear all about it. (Oh, I love the suspense!)

4. A break

It's amazing how fast Spring term goes. We are already half way done and then I finally get my break from BYU for a few weeks. Bliss.

5. SYTYCD

Yes, it's one of two shows that I diligently watch... which is nice because the other show is The Office and it's off season right now. Also, they are coming to SLC in July for auditions. I may just find myself there for kicks (no pun intended.)

6. Opportunities

I'm working on some things. Great things. Exciting things. Things that must not be named right not (my wellness and dance center...shhhh...) And the things that come with the things I'm planning make me down right giddy. Next year at this time, just you wait. Things are coming!!!

I hope you had a great birthday. I always think of you that day, but am not so great at conveying that to you.

Congrats on the new Condo! Good luck with the move.
