In other news...
Tom and I have been thoroughly inspired for the past year by Justin Jaynes' (Tom's used-to-be roommate) cooking expertise. We have decided to make Thursday nights our official "Cook Something New Night." Now, anyone who has ever lived with me might be laughing right now. I've never been into cooking that much, BUT there is no way you can spend any amount of time with Justin and not have a burning desire to become the next iron chef. So, last night we made Piadina Neapolitan. The piadina dough had a tomato and basil base, and was made from scratch (with the use of our beautiful new professional grade KitchenAid!), and from there the recipe was quite simple: fresh mozarella, fresh tomatoes, basil leafs, and salt and pepper grilled inside of a piadina brushed with olive oil. Pretty much the most fantastic and fancy grilled cheese sandwich ever. Yum!

Our new pots and pans should be coming sometime next week! We are so excited.

Yay for being married, and yay for wedding gifts!
I didn't cook much before I was married and I can tell you that I FAILED miserably at cooking anything edible for a while. I remember bawling my eyes out a lot. Good times.
Umm...David still cooks the majority of the time...oh well.
You should share the recipes! :) Yay!
looks freakin delicious!
cook-new-stuff Thursday sounds like the best idea ever. And I'm not laughing. Mostly because every once and again we would decide to cook and didn't suck at it. In this way I know that you, too will not suck at it.
OOOH... i think i'm going to make fajitas tonight.
Also, I love you and am so happy you've found your very own Mr. Darcy. But more social.
